My name is Carolyn and I am a university student in Economic and Political Science. I'm in my third year, so I have 1 more year to go. I am coming from a low income family and as you can imagine, I cannot pay my tuition. My father is on welfare... him and my mom are separated and my mom won't help pay for my schooling…
I was refused government help, and I applied for many student lines of credits, but no bank would approve me. They wouldn’t approve me because I have not established credit and because I need someone to co-sign for me. The thing is that with my father on welfare and my grandmother on her pension plan.... they do not qualify to be co-signers.
I am left with nothing right now. So far, I have a part time job that only covers my rent and my food. I have been paying for my tuition with credit cards, and now they are all maxed out and I can barely make the monthly payments....
I want to finish school and do something with my life. I know that once I graduate I can pay back my debts! I need HELP!! I have 1 more year to go... I don't know who to turn to anymore...
